From Studios & Artists
– Account information: name, email, password, payment details.
– Studio details: studio name, location, branding, social media links.
– Subscription & billing details (processed via Stripe).

From Customers (Tattoo Clients)
Collected only as part of the onboarding process initiated by a studio:
– Identification documents (photo ID, parental consent if minor).
– Medical and health history forms.
– Consent forms and signatures.
– Appointment details (booking date/time, artist, studio).
– Payment information for deposits or invoices (via Stripe).
– SMS communication history (via Twilio).

How We Use Information

– To enable bookings, onboarding, and consent form storage.
– To process payments securely through Stripe.
– To send SMS reminders, aftercare instructions, and studio communications.
– To store files and forms securely in Firebase and/or Google Drive.
– To improve our service, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

Cookies & Tracking 

We may use cookies and similar technologies to:
– Authenticate logins for studio/artist accounts.
– Remember user preferences.
– Collect analytics on platform usage.

Customers completing onboarding flows are not tracked across sessions, aside from essential cookies required for the onboarding process.

– Twilio (SMS messaging)
– Firebase (Google Cloud) (hosting, authentication, Firestore database, file storage)
– Google Drive (document storage, if enabled by studios)

– Studio and artist account data is retained while the account is active.
– Customer onboarding forms and consent records are retained by the studio in compliance with local regulations (often 3–7 years).
– SMS and booking logs may be retained for audit and dispute resolution.

Your Rights

If you are a studio or artist account holder, you may access, update, or delete your account data at any time.

If you are a customer of a studio, please contact your tattoo studio directly to request access to or deletion of your onboarding and consent records, as they are the data controller for that information.

Data Security

We implement strong technical and organizational safeguards, including:
– Encryption of data in transit and at rest (Firebase, Stripe, Twilio).
– Role-based access controls (studio owners, artists, onboarding customers).
– Server-side validation for all file uploads and form submissions.

Where your data is sent

– Files and forms may be securely stored in Firebase or Google Drive, depending on studio configuration.
– SMS messages are sent and received through Twilio’s secure platform.
– Payments are handled only through Stripe; we do not store card information.
